It's Friday again

Not much going on here, just waiting to hear from my current (or maybe NOT current!) employer to see if they have reached a decision to let me go or to keep my "wonderful" (NOT!) job with them. I have an idea what's going on but have not heard anything official yet. Nice that they value my time like this!

So I'll just keep relaxing and watching my cooking shows and shopping channels. I love cooking shows, even though I am not really a cook. The Food Network is awesome. I just LOVE me some Paula Deen!


Once in a while I do get a little ambitious and attempt something, but I'm not really the cook in the family-I mean, I can cook spaghetti and chicken, basic stuff, but I guess I'm not a CHEF. :)

Hopefully I'll be going out with the girls from my (possibly former?) office tonight just to hang out here at a restaurant/tavern called Rojo's (pronounced Ro-Joe's, not Ro-hoes, hee). I've never been there but a lot of locals hang out there and it's been a Lake Tahoe fixture for YEARS.
